Below is a list of important points for you to remember, leading up to any F18 Asociation Regatta. Please read through this carefully, and contact us if you have any questions.

1: You must bring your measurement Certificate with you to the Nationals

2: When you register at the regatta, please have with you

- Skipper

- Crew

- Measurement Certificate - 1 main, 1 jib and 1 spinnaker

- Corrector weights (if needed)

- Your boat must be equipped with a Paddle if requested within the NOR, Towrope and Compass.

- Please refer to the class rules.

- Every boat will be subject to pot checks for these items.

3: You must bring your own corrector weights

If your boat requires weight, then this must be fixed to the starboard side of the front crossbar, on the outside, and be removable for checking. If your crew weight is under 150kg, the corrector must be on the port side of the front crossbar, on the outside, and be removable for checking.

Crew weights and boat weights will be checked before, during and after the State championships.

If your crew weight is under or close to minimum, remember that you lose weight on the water. It is wise to carry a little extra weight to be safe.

If your boat weight as measured is close to or under minimum weight, remember that boats can lose weight too! Carry a little extra and be sure.

4: Please take some time to read the F18 class rules carefully. If you are unsure about anything, please contact us.

5: It is your responsibility to maintain your boat in compliance with the measurement certificate.

SPOT CHECKS WILL BE CONDUCTED THROUGHOUT REGATTAS.
